Washington DC’s Capital Pride is one of the nation’s biggest and most diverse Pride festivals. This year, they’re again proving their dedication to equality and inclusion by featuring two grand marshalls and festival headliners of color. So far, it’s the only major Pride festival to be led by Black people.

Actor Billy Porter and actress, singer, and all-around badass Keke Palmer will headline the weekend event. The concert lineup will also feature Ava Max, Exposé, and Sapphira Cristál.

DC’s parade, festival, and concert are free, with tickets available for purchase in select areas, including the Capitol Stage Pit Zone and the VIP Concert Zone.

“With Billy Porter and Keke Palmer leading the Parade as Grand Marshals, we’re not only honoring their incredible contributions to the LGBTQ+ community but also amplifying their voices as fierce advocates for equality and acceptance,” said CPA Executive Director Ryan Bos.

“The Concert and Festival serve as a platform to showcase the diverse array of LGBTQ+ talent, from the chart-topping hits of Ava Max to the iconic sounds of Exposé and the electrifying performances of Sapphira Cristál. Capital Pride 2024 promises to be a celebration like no other.”

DC’s parade will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Shaw, Logan Circle, Downtown, and Penn Quarter neighborhoods.
