Vietnam’s queer scene is thriving with many trendy bars, vibrant cafes, underground parties, exuberant drag shows, and even a proposed civil rights law.

Queers are out and proud more than ever, and they can be seen everywhere in cafes with rainbow flags and on their flamboyant Vespa scooters. Ho Chi Minh City’s acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community, in particular, can be seen through the ample amount of dedicated queer spaces.
